Why All The Fuss About Trayvon Martin?

Why All The Fuss About Trayvon Martin?

In today’s day and age of “win at any cost”, we see groups on both sides of the argument pull all sorts of punches to get their point across.  Racial slurs and dishonest arguments fly on both sides to get their point across.  Sadly both miss the bigger picture.

On February 26, 2012, George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch caption, shot and killed 17-year old Trayvon Martin in a small community just north of Orlando, FL. As of this writing, the investigation is still ongoing.  Regardless the outcome, this is a tragedy and the fallout will be seen and heard for some time to come.  Yet, as bad as it is, it pales in comparison to the massacre that occurs everyday.

Everyday, between 995-1,207 African-Americans are killed at the hands of abortion 1, 2.  Most of those who are raging about justice for Trayvon Martin are silent when it comes to the one thousand African-American babies slaughtered before they’re even old enough to wear a hoodie!  Let me put it this way.  As of this writing, it has been exactly one month since the Martin was killed.  Again, that is tragic.  The only thing more tragic is more killings.  If we round off the aforementioned statistic to 1,000, that is approximately 30,000 African-American babies have been slaughtered in the past month.  Where’s the outrage over that?

The killing of this young man has sparked cries from various communities.  This only magnifies blatant hypocrisy and leaves one to sense that this event is being used for nothing more than a platform to advance one’s ideological agenda.  Need proof? Returning to those statistics, they could realistically be interpreted as, “within the last month, approximately 30,000 blacks have been killed at the hands of white men.”  Where’s the outrage there?

Bottom line, anytime anyone dies, especially in a preventable way, it is sad.  Perhaps this will serve as a wake-up call to the African-American communities.  An awakening to the ethnic genocide that is being accomplished through these butcher shops known as abortion clinics.  This was, by her own admission, Margret Sanger’s intent from the beginning with Planned Parenthood.  As the old cliche goes, those who don’t learn from history are destined to repeat it.  I’d add, “until there’s none left to remember.”
